NEW YORK -- Fifteen
students from the University's Manderson Entertainment & Media
Society (MEMS) ascended on New York City February 23-26 for their
first annual MBA Media & Entertainment Conference and Greater New York Chapter Networking Trip.
Hosted by chapter president Christopher Hollinger at the Bank of America Building, four of the students presented a case study on Super Bowl Advertisements to a select panel of UANYC members in the media industry on Thursday. Following the presentation, the group and 17 UANYC members gathered at Bryant Park Grill for a networking reception.
The next day, the MEMS students took part in the MBA
Media & Entertainment Conference at New York University. On Saturday, the group enjoyed a free day to explore the Big Apple and watch the Alabama-Mississippi State men's basketball game at The Hill with more members of the chapter before heading back to Tuscaloosa on Sunday.
